Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora
Welcome to the desert capital Ouarzazate, you have the opportunity to visit the famous Kasbah Aït-Ben-Haddou, the walled clay town with its many ksars and kasbahs, where several famous films have been shot.
It’s desert time now! Zagora is the last town before the real wilderness begins. Upon arrival, you will meet your camel driver and head out into the desert on top of your friendly camel as the sun sets over the horizon. Just before dark, you will arrive at the Sahara Desert Camp where you can settle into your private tent.
Day 2: Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
You can get up early to enjoy the first rays of sun on the desert. On the way back through the Draa Valley towards Marrakech, we will stop in Ouarzazate for lunch and visit the Kasbah Taourirt or the cinema museum.
